Obituary

Adam Jacob Figueroa, 27, of Island Park, died suddenly in a snowmobile accident on Sunday, February 10, 2019.

Adam was born January 3, 1992, in Rexburg, Idaho at Madison Memorial Hospital, the son of Jose "Chuto" Figuerao and Louise "Weezie" and Kevin Poole.

Adam will be especially remembered for his huge smile, embracing hugs, his big heart and his dog Rodney. He loved to help others.

Adam graduated from North Fremont High School, and was voted King of his Junior Prom with KaytLynn Dummer as Queen. After graduation he went to work in Island Park doing all kinds of jobs. He was a man of many talents. Recently he was working for his brother, Robert Duran, as a painter. He was a hard worker and always did his best either at work or play.

Living in Island Park, Adam loved to hunt, fish, snowmobile, build things, and woodworking. He has recently done some woodwork for the girls at Shotgun Bar.

He loved being a member of the Island Park volunteer firefighters and enjoyed the camaraderie of the guys he served with.

Adam is survived by his mother, Louise "Weezie" Poole, step-dad Kevin Poole; father, Jose "Chuto" Figueroa; brother, Robert (Brittany) Duran; sister, Narcisa (Lucus Shults) Figueroa; nieces, Gracie and Gemma, and nephew Gauge Duran; and his dog, Rodney. Also family in El Paso and Smithville, Texas.

He is preceded in death by his grandpa Bruce Vaughn and Grandma Rebecca Vaughn.

Adam was a prankster and loved joking around. He especially loved his family and friends.

The outpouring of love and special times posted on Facebook have been a celebration of all the great things he did in Island Park.

A Celebration of Life is planned for a later date.
