Anita Louise Howell Brazier Kaufmann, 77, of Ashton, died August 3, 2022, at her home of natural causes.

She was born February 23, 1945, in Rexburg, Idaho to Forrest and Louise Marotz Howell. She grew up in Ashton where she attended school and graduated from North Fremont High School.

Anita moved around in her younger years. She lived in Texas, Las Vegas, and California. She owned and operated Big Bear Landscapes.

She married Charles Brazier in August of 1992. Charles succumbed to a brain aneurysm in April 2004. She later wed James Kaufmann until his passing in April 2015

Anita continued living in Ashton where she cared for her friends and animals until her passing.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran and later Ashton Christian Fellowship.

She is survived by her nephew, Ethan Howell.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Forrest and Louise Howell; her brother Richard "Dick" Howell; and a niece, Jennifer Burton.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
