Obituary

Brenda Lee Payne, 66, of Ashton, died February 25, at her home of natural causes.

She was born April 26, 1951, in St. Anthony, Idaho. Her parents were Elmo Glen Orgill and Vilda Ann Larson Orgill. She was raised in Twin Groves and on the family dry farm on Sand Creek Road. She attended schools in St. Anthony and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1970. After graduation she attended Ricks College for a time.

She married Boyd Archibald. They were married a couple of years until his death. She then married Duane Sessions. Two children were born to this union, Deriek and Autumn. She also gained three of Duane's children, Tina, Rob and Cory. Brenda and Duane later divorced. On December 9, 1992, Brenda married David Leslie Payne in St. Anthony. They have made their home in Ashton since their marriage.

Brenda worked a number of jobs, she was a CNA at Ashton Living Center, worked at the Super 8 Motel, cooked at the Senior Citizen Center and was a clerk at Dave's IGA.

Brenda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She enjoyed fishing, camping and crocheting. She loved spending time with her family, and especially enjoyed attending family reunions. She had many good friends and appreciated their love and support.

She is survived by her husband, David; children, Deriek Sessions, Autumn (George) Bryant, Tina Sessions, Rob (Brandy) Sessions, Cory Sessions; siblings, Dave Brown, Ted (Sheila) Orgill, Frank (Debbie) Ives, Chuck (Coco) Ives, Trina (Ralph) Brooks; grandchildren Baylie, Donald, Thea, Coulter, Winterrose and several others. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Mary and Carrie; and a grandson.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 7, at the Ashton 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Curt Judy officiating. The family will receive friends that morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services. Condolences may be sent to the family online at www.baxterfh.com.
