Bruen Dale Cordingley, 40, of Ashton, Idaho, returned to his Heavenly Father of April 8, 2023, in Ashton, Idaho. He was born August 8, 1982, in Rexburg, Idaho, to Rob and Patti Cordingley. He graduated North Fremont High School in 2001 and attended Jamestown College on a wrestling scholarship.

He married Nicki Chandler and they had three beautiful children that he loved with all his heart. They later went their separate ways. Bruen was later happily married to Kelly Sharp in the Rexburg LDS Temple. The two of them went on to fulfill their life long dream of owning and running a horse ranch in Ashton.

There was nothing Bruen enjoyed more than being on the mountains. He dedicated many years to the youth of the upper valley and North Fremont wrestling where he changed the lives of many. He found comfort spending time with family and friends, which he was usually late for and shared an inappropriate joke. He will be missed by many.

He is survived his his wife Kelly, his children, Taylyn of St. Anthony, Bronc of Ashton and Kreed of Ashton. He is also survived by his parents, Robby and Patti Cordingley of Ashton, as well as his siblings, Ardee (Cody) York of Aledo, Texas, Kolby (Cori) Cordingley of Pocatello, and Autum (Isaak) Lenz of Ashton. Also surviving him are 9 nephews and 5 nieces.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Dale and Wanda Cordingley and Lorin and Thelma Pence.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Ashton Stake Center. The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
