Clay Jean Wykle, 58, of Ashton, passed away March 20, 2016, at his home surrounded by family. He was born July 6, 1957, in Ashton, Idaho to Allen and Stella Wykle. He received his education in Ashton.

On June 5, 1999, he married the love of his life, Rosemarry McCormick. They made their home in Ashton. He shared a special bond with his nephew, Matheau, who was like a son to Clay. They made and shared many memories together.

He is survived by his wife, Rosemarry of Ashton; brothers Dean Wykle of Ashton, Stacey (Barbra) Wykle of Yakima, Washington, Vint (Toni) Wykle of Ashton; 11 nephews and 3 nieces.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Stella Wykle; grandparents, Carey A. and Eva Messor Jones and Will and Emma Wykle; and his uncle and aunt, Dallas and Lillie Wykle.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 23, at Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. both times at the funeral home. Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery.
