Obituary

Connie Bradshaw Davis, 78, a longtime resident of the Egin area, passed away December 6, 2015, at the Homestead Assisted Living Center in St. Anthony, after a short and courageous battle with cancer.

She was born October 12, 1937, in St. Anthony to Robert Elwin and Arvilla Asenath Oakey Bradshaw. She was raised on the family dairy in the Egin area. She spent a lot of her summers at the family ranch in Kilgore. She attended elementary school in Heman and graduated from Sugar-Salem High School. She attended Ricks College for one year after high school.

She married Robert "Bob" Frank Davis on October 23, 1959, in Egin. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple. They lived for a time in the Monteview area before returning to Egin where they raised their family and resided until her passing.

At the time of her marriage she was working for First Security Bank. She drove school bus for several years. She later worked for Fremont County as a dispatcher. She and Bob ran Bob and Connie's Café in Parker. During Bob and Connie's entire married life they were heavily involved in the sheep industry. They were members of the Idaho State Wool Grower's Association. They also raised lambs for the 4-H program in Fremont County and supported their grandchildren as they raised and showed sheep for the county fair.

She was a hard worker and enjoyed gardening and canning. She was a wonderful cook and could turn basic ingredients into a gourmet meal. She loved spending time with her family and her grandchildren were an important part of her life.

She is survived by her husband, Bob of Egin; sons Bill (Pam) Davis of Twin Groves, Robert (Lori) Davis of Teton City; brothers, Ted (Gwen) Bradshaw, Blair (Gayle) Bradshaw and Stan (Mary) Bradshaw all of St. Anthony; sister-in-law Karla Bradshaw; grandchildren, Jessica (Dusty) Taylor, Eileen (Charles) Nelson, Kyle (Brandy) Davis, Krysten Davis, Dillon (Rickie) Davis, Jenna Davis; and 7 great-grandsons and 2 great-granddaughters.

She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Ronald Bradshaw.
