Daimien "Dami" Rome Labra Rivas, 20 months, of Ashton, died Wednesday, July 16, 2014, from injuries sustained in an accident. He was born November 2, 2012, in Rexburg, Idaho to Omar Labra and Adelaida Rivas.

He was raised by his parents in Ashton. He was a happy, energetic little boy. So full of energy that his nickname was "Destroyer". He was the pride and joy of his parents. They loved him and provided nothing but the best for him.

He loved playing with his cousins and family. He was loved and spoiled by everyone. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his parents, Omar and Adelaida; his grandparents, Wilfredo and Guadalupe Rivas, Elsa (Mauricio Piña) Lopez, Filiberto (Filiberta Aquilar) Labra; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Rafael Hernandez, Adelaida Campos, Celia Rivas, Antonio Calderon, Leonardo Labra and Maria de Jesus Vasques.

Funeral Mass will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 20, at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in St. Anthony. The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00 to 5:15 p.m. at Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton before driving to St. Anthony for Mass. The family will also receive friends Monday morning from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. at Baxter Funeral Home before graveside services at the Ashton Pineview Cemetery.
