Donna Kay Allison, 81, formerly of Ashton died November 29, 2023, in Rexburg, Idaho.

Donna was born July 17, 1942, in Chula Vista, CA to Robert and Madelyn Wafer and had one sister, Sylvia Campbell. She grew up in Chula Vista and married Daren Asa Allison on December 16, 1961, in San Diego, CA. Daren and Donna went on to have 3 children, Susan Allison Sarkis, Sara Allison Hansen, and Douglas Allison.

Donna is survived by: Husband: Daren, Daughter: Susan (Georges) Sarkis, Daughter: Sara Allison Hansen and Son: Douglas (Russe) Allison. Donna loved being a grandma to Roger (Allyssa) Sarkis, Alex Sarkis, Andrew Sarkis, Ryan Hansen, Courtney (Kip) McMillan, Nicole Hansen and Olivia Allison and a great grandmother to Hadlie, Quinn and Penny Sarkis and Clive McMillan. She is also survived by Sister: Sylvia Campbell as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Donna loved serving others and enjoyed her time serving as Relief Society President to 3 different Bishops.  She loved spending time with family and was always performing acts of kindness. She spent many years serving in the San Diego LDS Temple. She was truly a woman of faith. She loved gardening, puzzles, and children.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 9, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street, in Ashton, Idaho.  The family will receive friends and family Saturday from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.  Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery.

A luncheon for friends and family will be held immediately following the interment at the Ashton 4th Ward Chapel next to the Pineview Cemetery.
