Frances C. Lawton, 95, of Island Park, Idaho passed away Oct. 7, 2015.

Fran was born in Everett, MA. on March 25, 1920 to Raymond and Vera Harrington. She married Donald H. Lawton Feb. 26, 1942. They moved to Virginia in 1954 where they spent 56 devoted years together.

Fran worked in retail sales and was a librarian in Virginia Beach. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, crafting, reading and family gatherings. Fran was a member of the Thalia Methodist Church, the Va. Beach Couples Club, Targhee Womens Club and the Little Church in the Pines.

Left to cherish her memory are her three children, Richard Lawton and wife Judy, Robert Lawton and Donna Gallahan and husband Tom; her sister, Jean Jacobus; four grandchildren, Bryan, Keri, Ryan and Sara; three great grandchildren and four nieces and nephews.

She will be buried beside her loving husband in the West Harpswell Cemetery, Harpswell, ME.
