Jacob Johnson's Obituary
Jacob David Johnson, 7, of Island Park, Idaho, passed away Monday, December 19, 2016, at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City.
He was born July 10, 2009, in Rexburg, Idaho to Christopher and Summer Johnson.
He was a first grader at Ashton Elementary where he enjoyed his association with the students, teachers, administrators and staff. He was full of energy and loved to laugh and spend time with his friends.
He enjoyed helping his mom around the house and fishing with his dad.
He was a big brother to Madison, Avery, and Bethany.
He was looking forward to his baptism into the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints this next summer.
He is survived by his parents, Christopher and Summer Johnson; his sisters Madison, Avery and Bethany; grandparents, Toni Holyoak, Eric Holyoak, Henry and Robin Johnson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, December 23, at the Island Park LDS Chapel, 4120 S. Big Springs Loop Road, with Bishop George Brunt officiating. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 to 1:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Island Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton.
