Jane Meckelson, 87, passed away peacefully at her new home in Island Park, Idaho on the evening of December 5, 2022. She was born on January 23, 1935 in Caldwell, Idaho.

She graduated from Boise High School in 1953 and married her high school sweetheart Jim Meckelson in 1955. They had 4 children. Jane started her career in the floral industry and later became a co-owner of Johnson Floral. She retired in 2000 and moved to Terrace Lakes where they lived out their retirement years in a community they grew to love and made many wonderful friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Jim, 2 sisters Kathryn Yost and Elizabeth Massey, and her grandson Joel Watson. She is survived by her sister, Becky Jackson;  children, Monty (Susan) Meckelson, Boise, Shannon (Dan) Maher, Spokane, Kelly (Scott) Watson, Pocatello, and Dawn Meckelson (Ed Chriss), Eugene, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and her beloved dog Mister.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on March 25, 2023 at the Crouch Community Church, 8 One Way Lane, Garden Valley, Idaho 83622.
