Janette Villalba Gonzales, of St. Anthony, ID, just 34 years old, passed unexpectedly on August 27, 2021 in a car accident. The family is deeply saddened by her sudden death. She was born on December 17, 1986 in Rexburg, ID. She attended North Fremont High School, and lived in Ashton, ID most of her life.

The simplest pleasures in life brought her great joy. She loved a quiet evening with her family, children, and her cats Tom and Binx. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities, music, singing, and drawing.

Anyone who knew Janette was touched by her kindness and humor. She was truly a peacemaker and was always a source of positivity and love.

She is survived by her children Natalie Moreno, Anthony Eduardo Villalba, and Victoria Isabelle Villalba. Her mother, Isabel T Martinez, her father, Alonso Martinez, her grandmother, Lolita Scarpelli, her brother Eric, sisters Prisma and Leslie, as well as her extended family and an abundance of friends. She is truly loved and will be deeply missed.

Janette is reunited in heaven with the love of her life; husband Jesus Villalba, grandfather Tony Scarpelli, and cousin Michael Trevizo.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 31, at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church in Saint Anthony.  A visitation and rosary will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Monday, August 30, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street in Ashton.  Interment will be Tuesday immediately after the funeral at the Pineview Cemetery in Ashton.
