Obituary

Joseph Evat Case was born July 24, 1957, at Driggs, Idaho to Donna and Markley Case. He has three siblings, Becky (Matt) Pickett of Idaho Falls, Wes (Kathleen) Case of Marysville, Idaho, and Susan (Roger) Wood of Idaho Falls and Yuma, Arizona.

Joe graduated from North Fremont High School in 1975.

He was gifted musically and played the piano at many community functions and at church. He often entertained family members in their homes playing the piano as well.

For a short time, Joe lived in New Mexico with his sister and her husband, Susan and Roger Wood. He worked cleaning buildings for Roger's dad.

Joe served a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sydney, Australia, from December 1976 to December 1978. He loved to tell his family about the experiences he had there.

After his mission, he married Charlotte Severson in the Calgary, Canada temple. They had two children, Monica and Ian. Joe and Charlotte were later divorced.

Joe joined the military and served for six years at Fort Dix, New Jersey, Fort Carson, Colorado, South Korea and Germany.

After returning from the service, Joe spent his time in Ashton. He worked for around 20 years at Dave's Jubilee. He also worked in the potato harvests, cleaned the Ashton Seminary, and the bank in Ashton until it closed.

Joe became sick in January and spent time in the Rexburg and Driggs hospitals. He passed away in the McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah on February 22, 2022.

He will be happy to join his parents and other loved ones on the other side.
