It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John C Berry Jr, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, on Thursday Aug 15, at the age of 73. He was born to Ardella and John C Berry, Sr of Tetonia, ID.

John was a devoted husband to Mary for 53 years. Together, they built a loving home filled with support, and endless memories. He leaves behind 5 children, Katrina (Gregg), John, Travis (Nichole), Heidi (Mike) and Candace (Josh). His love and pride for his children were always evident, and he cherished every moment spent with them.

He was an immensely proud grandfather to his 30 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. He was always there to celebrate their achievements, and was their biggest supporter, always ready with words of encouragement.

John is preceded in death by parents Jack and Ardella Berry, his sisters Ann and Elizabeth, and daughter-in-law Marie.

John's dedication to those around him was unwavering, and he inspired all who knew him to be the best they could be. He taught them the values of hard work, integrity, and kindness, leaving a lasting mark on their lives. He will be remembered for his kind heart and daily dedication to those he loved. John leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, and kindness that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 24, at the Sugar City LDS Gray Chapel, 6 N. Teton Avenue, Sugar City, ID 83448.  The family will receive friends  Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.  Interment will be in the Cache-Clawson Cemetery.
