Obituary

Kenzie Karen Richards, 32, of South Jordan, Utah and formerly of St. Anthony, passed away October 12, 2025, after a long battle with cancer.

She was born December 28, 1992, in Rexburg, Idaho to Dirk and Dena Little Richards.  She arrived 16 minutes before her twin sister Kayla.  Kenzie was raised in Egin Bench, attended Parker Elementary and graduated from South Fremont High School.  She was a good athlete and enjoyed playing volleyball, basketball, softball, and running track.  After high school she attended BYU-Idaho for a while before transferring to Ensign Business College in Salt Lake City.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Kenzie married her life-partner, Alex Da Silva, on June 21, 2025.

Kenzie worked at 1-800-Contacts for a number of years.  She enjoyed her work and made many friends during her time there.

She loved to cook and experiment with new recipes.  She was known for her bread and loved to share it with friends and family.  She loved flowers, gardening, camping, and being outdoors.  She enjoyed animals, especially her cats.

She is survived by her parents, Dirk and Dena Richards; siblings, Jace Richards, Jaran (Aubry) Richards, and Kayla Richards; and her niece India and nephew Ross.  She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Cleve and Renee Richards and Vern and Karen Little.

All who would like to remember and honor Kenzie are invited to attend graveside services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18, at the Parker Cemetery, 550 North 2000 East, St. Anthony, ID 83445.
