With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Kip Alden Teske, who left us on February 9, 2025, at 54. Kip was living with his parents, Dan and Letha Whitmore, who were close by his side with family when he passed. Kip was born on August 3, 1970, in Driggs, Idaho, and grew up in Twin Falls, where he graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1988.

He was a talented athlete who excelled in football and basketball, and his love for sports remained a constant throughout his life. Kip loved the outdoors and cherished time spent fishing on the local rivers with family. He was a skilled hunter, trapper, and fisherman; he found peace and joy in nature.

He worked with his hands in many aspects of the construction industry and had a natural way with people—he could strike up a conversation with anyone and make them feel like an old friend. Though he spent many years away from Idaho, his family was blessed to have him close these past ten months, creating lasting memories that will be treasured forever.

Kip is survived by his beloved children, Brock, Gavin, Ashley, and Hunter, and his seven grandchildren; his loving parents, Letha and Dan Whitmore and Eugene Teske; his brothers, Kirk, Kasey, and Keith Teske; and his sister, Kara Williams.

Kip's adventurous spirit, skilled hands, and gift for connecting with others will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A celebration of his life will be held on Monday, February 17, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. at the Ashton, Idaho Stake Center of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 516 North 2nd Street. There will be a welcoming of family and friends at 1:00 p.m. at the stake center prior to services.
