LeAnn "Peanut" Butikofer, 64, of Ucon Idaho, passed away on December 2, 2024, surrounded by Family. LeAnn was born January 28,1960, to Glenn and Marian Longhurst in Idaho Falls, Idaho. LeAnn attended Bonneville high school.

She was born to serve people. She loved her time of serving others at Ernie's café for many years, to your favorite soda shops around town later in life. She always greeted you with the biggest smile and a joke. Through a life of serving, she developed many friendships.

LeAnn had three children Jeremy Simmons, Mark Butikofer, and Marrisa Butikofer. She enjoyed spending time with her kids, and her husband Karl. Some of her favorites were snowmobiling, staying at condos in island park, horseback riding in Palisades Creek, traveling and watching her kids' sporting events.

Sadly in 2001, Karl passed away. After his passing she got to spend the last 20 years with her partner, Garth Cordon. They enjoyed traveling, hosting gatherings, and spending time at their cabin at Sheep Creek together.

She is survived by Partner, Garth Cordon; Son, Jeremy (Kristy) Simmons; Son, Mark Butikofer (Keisha Fisher); Daughter, Marrisa Butikofer; Step-Son, Brad (Jen) Cordon; Grand Kids, Morgyn (Easton) Banta, Ryker Simmons, Nicole Cordon, Cloey Lepore, Peyton King, Olivia King ,Roczen Butikofer, Kobee Butikofer, Jozee Johnson; Sisters, Glenda Hinkley, Jeralyn Messenger, Mariellen Drollinger, Coy Lou Stephens. She is preceded in death by her late husband Karl Butikofer, father Glen Longhurst, mother Marian Longhurst, and brother Thomas Glenn Longhurst.

A private family service was held at the Pineview Cemetery in Ashton.

A Celebration of Life for friends and family will be held on Saturday, December 28, from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. at Don's Lounge, 158 East Main, in Rigby.
