Lee Anne Kennedy, age 68, of Colorado Springs, Colorado, a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away July 2, 2020, in Island Park, Idaho from natural causes.

She was born April 28, 1952, in Anchorage, Alaska, to Robert and Ruth Hagins Abbott.

She married Gary Lee Kennedy on June 14, 1974, in Denver, Colorado. Two sons, Shane and Chad, were born to this union.

She enjoyed doing counted cross-stitching, taking pictures, seeing new places, and visiting with all the friends that she and Gary have made all over the country, in person and on Facebook.

She and Gary enjoyed spending their summers at Sawtelle Resort in Island Park where they helped manage the campground.

She is survived by her husband, Gary Kennedy; her sons, Shane Kennedy and Chad (Roxie) Kennedy; her mother Ruth Abbott; a brother Michael Abbott; a sister Penni Sandoval; and her grandchildren, Evan, Gabriel, Jordan, Aidan, and Annabella.

A Celebration of Life will be held in her honor at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street, in Ashton, Idaho.
