Obituary

Dolores "Lolita" Scarpelli, age 85, passed away peacefully in her sleep in her home on Sunday March 12th. Lolita was born in May of 1937 to her mother, Antonia Gonzalez and her father, Cresencio Villalba in Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua Mexico. She was born a preemie and the 7th of 10 siblings.

She lived and worked in the state of Chihuahua all her younger years and later moved to Ashton, Idaho in the 80's. She was part of the effort in the Yellowstone National Park fires of 1988. There, she met her life companion and future husband Anthony "Tony" E. Scarpelli.  They lived happy together in a beautiful cabin in Island Park. She would spoil him daily with home cooked meals.  They loved traveling and spending time with family until he sadly passed in 2004.

Lolita then moved to Idaho falls to be closer to family. Lolita was a hard working and strong woman all her life. She loved cooking, gardening, knitting and always had a great story to tell. Family was more than important to her, she prioritized them above everything. She raised more than her 5 children, helped raise and care for many grandchildren and even great-grandchildren.
Lolita will be immensely missed. She is survived by her children Jesus, Olga, Rosa, Isabel & Alonso, and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.

Amen.
