Lynn Marie Bateman Burch, 77, of Chubbuck, formerly of Ashton, died May 8, 2023, at her home of natural causes.

Lynn was born November 18, 1945, in Burley, Idaho.  Her parents were Edward and Elese Thompson Bateman.  She was raised in Oakley and Burley and attended Minidoka High School.

She married Scott Burch on September 3, 1965, in Burley.  Scott worked for Union Pacific Railroad and for 13 years they lived in several different areas for work.  In 1978, they moved to Ashton where they raised their four children.  In 2010, they moved to Chubbuck to be close to their daughter.

Lynn loved camping, fishing, doing crafts, and spending time with her family.  She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats.

She is survived by her children, Monica (Chuck) Mahoney of Pocatello, David (Suzelle) Burch of Ashton, Sara (Max) Flores of Jackson, Wyoming; her siblings, Lee (Cheryle) Bateman, Rhoda (Jerry) Davis, Glenda Flower; four grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Scott; and daughter, Lisa Palmer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 12, at Baxter Funeral Home, 717 Main Street in Ashton.  The family will receive friends Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.  Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery.
