Michelle Bergman Charles, 46, formerly of Ashton, passed away quietly at her home in Arkansas, on May 1, 2016.

She was born February 10, 1970 to James & Eileen (Kent) Bergman. She spent most of her younger years at the Primary Children's Hospital and the Shriners Hospital in Salt Lake.

She attended schools at Ashton Elementary, North Fremont High School, and Ricks College. She worked for David Krueger for a short time and also as an aide at Ashton Elementary. She really loved children.

She met her husband (Shane) online and they were later married on April 7, 2000. The marriage was later solemnized in the LDS Temple. About a year later they had a beautiful daughter who was adopted out because Michelle was unable to care for her. She was always in Michelle's heart.

They lived in Idaho for several years and then moved to Arkansas to be closer to his family. She was a member of the LDS church and taught Primary for several years.

She loved animals of all kinds and enjoyed cross-stitch, plastic canvas, puzzles, and reading.

She is survived by her husband Shane of Morrilton, Arkansas, mom Eileen Kent Bergman of Ashton, brother Rich (Heather) Bergman of Montpelier, niece Aspen Troseth and nephew Payton Bergman of Montpelier, Uncles Dan Kent of Ashton and Dean Kent of Elko, Nevada, and several aunts & sister-in-laws.

Michelle was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

There will be a memorial service held on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. at Baxter Funeral Home in Ashton. Family will meet with friends at the Funeral Home Saturday from 11:00 - 11:30 a.m. at the funeral home prior to services.
