Mikaela Rachelle Ivie returned to the loving arms of her Heavenly Father on November 11, 2023. She is at peace and finally healthy and whole.

Mikaela was born in Jacksonville, Texas on March 14, 1997. She had bright red hair and the funnest giggle from the very start. She was born with disabilities that she struggled with her entire life but she is mostly remembered for her loving heart. She was  extremely connected to her nephew Tayt Michael Andersen and he was her greatest joy.

Mikaela loved animals. She loved to volunteer at the animal shelters and found her very best friend there, a chihuahua named Naomi whom she saved her money for and purchased herself. They were inseparable. She enjoyed art and craft projects and was gifted in writing poetry. She also loved music and putting together videos on social media. Her sense of humor was infectious and she loved to tease and joke.

Mikaela leaves her parents Michael and Taryn Ivie, her siblings Christy (Daren) Jeppersen,  Crystal (Aric) Becker, Eric (Sidney) Ivie, Kendralyn Ivie and her grandparents Silvia Dalessi, Nadine Ivie and Chuck and Susan Cargo. She is preceded in death by her grandfathers Joseph Ivie and Marino Dalessi Jr.

Services will be held in Ashton, Idaho at the Ashton Stake Center, 516 N. 2nd Street, on Saturday, December 9, 2023. The family will meet from 11:00 to 11:45 a.m. at the stake center prior to the Memorial Services at 12:00 p.m.
