Obituary

Nikky "Nikk" Karl Garner, 55, of St. Anthony, died June 28, 2024, from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Nikky was born September 1, 1968,  in Rexburg, Idaho to Larry and Shanna Lee Miller Garner.  He raised in Saint Anthony, Idaho and graduated from South Fremont High School in 1987.  While in high school he enjoyed wrestling where he was of one of the top wrestlers in his weight class.

Shortly after that he meet Tina and become a devoted father to three children, Hagan, Kaiden, and  NyKeal.

Nikky was a man of many talents between his eye for detail, his outstanding craftsmanship, or being the life of the party is how we will remember him.

Early in his career he learned how to building beautiful houses with Larry Beesley.  Later he began working at the Idaho National Laboratory where he built life-long friendships with his coworkers.

He strived to make a impact on his life and his kids, by showing them how to work hard and keep your head held high, while giving the shirt off his back to just about anyone. To know Nikky is to love Nikky.

Nikky was a devoted father, son, g-pa, brother, friend, and companion. In his short lived life he enjoyed the small things like hanging out with his kids and grandkids, working out at the gym, fixing up anything possible with his son, or going on a simple ride on his motorcycle. We will remember Nikky by his willingness to always give a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on. We love you daddy, watch over us kids as we will continue to make you proud.

He is survived by his kids, Hagan Hoopes, Kaiden Garner, NyKeal Garner, grandkids Triggen Garner, Hudson Hoopes, Blakeley Mae Garner;  mother Shanna Garner; sister, Heather (Kurt) Cordingley; brother, Thad (Tecia) Garner. He is preceded in death by his father, Larry Garner.
