Obituary

Pamela Gay Scheer, age 61, passed away peacefully with family around her on Monday, September 11, 2023.

She was born in St. Anthony, Idaho on February 18, 1961, to her loving parents Larry H. Ricks and Nelda Ard Ricks.

Pamela attended Teton High School.  She continued her education through ISU studying nursing.  She spent many years in the medical field and volunteering as an EMT for the Teton Valley Ambulance.  She was the business director of medical records at Teton Valley Hospital and she loved her career.

Pam had many passions in life, the most prevalent ones were the days she spent crafting with her grandchildren.  Her biggest love in life was being a mother and especially a grandmother.

Everyone who knew her knew her love for her mother as she spent the last ten years caring for her alongside her beloved husband Tim.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  Out of her many callings Primary by far was her favorite as she could craft and sing with those children.

Pam is survived by her beloved husband Tim, her stepson, Jason Lynn Scheer; her three daughters, Ashley Elizabeth Harris, Whitney Berniece Scheer, and Courtney June Nemeth (Walker); 8 grandchildren, Sydnee Scheer, Savanna Scheer, Kooper DeMille, Paizlee DeMille, Preslee DeMille, Ayden Nemeth, Rhett Nemeth, and Benson Nemeth; siblings, Kirk Ricks (Janet), Vicky Wade (Don), Georgia Davison (Scott), and Mike Ricks.  She is preceded in death by her grandmothers, Theola Ricks and Myrtle Ard, and her beloved father, Larry Ricks.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 18, at the Alta Cemetery in Alta, Wyoming. The family will receive friends and family Sunday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. at the Driggs LDS Stake Center, in Driggs, Idaho.
