Paul Marcum

Kevin Paul Marcum, 37, of Tetonia, Idaho, passed away April 8, 2025, from natural causes.  He was born April 13, 1987, in Denver, Colorado to Kevin and Bonita Whitten Marcum.  He was raised and attended school in Colorado and Kansas.

He was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He served a mission for the church in the Rapid City, South Dakota mission.

After his mission, Paul moved to Victor, Idaho and went to work at the Chevron Station there.  While working he pursued his EMT Certificate and the became a Certified Nursing Assistant.  He worked for a number of years at the Teton Valley Hospital.  While working there he earned his Radiology Technician certificate.  He worked as a home health provider and then earned his LPN degree.  He worked for a time at the Idaho Falls Community Hospital before returning to the Teton Valley Hospital.  He was passionate about his job and was very kind and compassionate as he cared for the people that he grew to love.

Work was his hobby, but he did enjoy taking drives through the Teton Valley and loved sky-diving when he experienced it.

He is survived by his parents, Kevin and Bonita; siblings, Emily (Ron King) Marcum, and Ryan (Rebecca) Marcum; his grandfather, Selar Marcum; one niece and one nephew; and many cousins and aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Elva Marcum; grandparents, Francis and Isabelle Whitten; and uncle Sherman Whitten.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 18, at the Tetonia LDS Chapel, with Bishop Collin Hunter officiating.  The family will received friends and family Friday morning from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.  Burial will be in the Cache Clawson Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be made in Paul's memory to the Primary Children's Hospital, or a home health agency of your choosing.
