Obituary

Ronald Harold Rowsell, 80, of Marysville, Idaho, died September 19, 2019, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes. He was born November 7, 1938, in Salt Lake City, Utah, to Harold Pete and Letty Oldham Rowsell. He was raised and attended schools in Salt Lake City.

He joined the US Air Force in 1956 and served for two years before being honorably discharged.

He married Dorothy Mary Garcia on November 28, 1961, in Las Vegas, Nevada. They lived in the Murray area and raised 5 children, Ron, Bob, Mike, Teresa, and Eric.

Ron was an automotive machinist. He worked at several places, including Midwest Engines and Plus 10 Automotive.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

He loved to hunt, fish, and go bowling. He loved spending time with his family. He was a character and a jokester.  He loved to sing and dance.

He and Dorothy moved to Marysville in 1996, where he enjoyed his retirement years. He loved the beauty of the surrounding area.

He is survived by his wife Dorothy; children, Ron Rowsell, Bobby (Brenda) Rowsell, Mike Rowsell, Teresa Hanson, Eric (Tawnee) Rowsell; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Lynn, Stan, and Wally; and a sister, Janet.

Private family services will be held at a later date.
