Leslie "Scott" Jenkins, 67, of Ashton, Idaho passed away August 14, 2024 in New Castle, Colorado due to complications related to cancer. He was born October 4, 1956 to Wayne and Beverly Ostermiller Jenkins and attended Ashton schools, graduating from North Fremont High School in 1974.

In his younger years, Scott really enjoyed going on camping and pack trips with his friends and family. He worked in the logging and trucking industry for many years, assisted farmers around Ashton during harvest and shipping seasons, and enjoyed keeping up with the activities of his two grandchildren.

Scott is survived by his son Chance (Courtney) of New Castle, CO and their children, Caeson and Cada; sister Debbie (Matt) Davis of Ashton, ID; step son Ryan VanTeylingen of Rifle, CO; several nieces and a nephew. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Jeff Jenkins.

In lieu of services, the family plans to host a Memorial Luncheon for family and friends at the Jenkins family residence in Marysville on Sunday, September 1st at 1pm. Memorial donations may be made to the North Fremont High School FFA Program.
