Shirley Anne Radford Richey, 86, passed away October 23, 2021, in Ashton, Idaho. She was a devoted wife and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Shirley spent her younger years in Tappahannock on the Rappahannock River. She attended elementary school there and then graduated high school in Waynesboro in 1953. Shirley lived with her parents in Salt Lake for a time, then with Grant when he was stationed at Fort Devens, Massachusetts, and then back with her parents when he left for Okinawa Japan. They made their final him in Ashton, Idaho and raised five wonderful boys. After 7 years of trying, they were blessed with Gary Lynne in 1960, Mark Grant in 1962, Eric T. in 1964, Keith R. in 1970, and Wade E. in 1973. Grant ran an appliance repair shop while Shirley raised her 5 boys and worked as an Avon Representative. Their home sat just up the road from the Snake River with a beautiful view of the Grand Teton's out their large picture window.
Shirley was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She held many callings in her lifetime, including Relief Society President, Primary President, Ward Chorister, and her favorite, Primary Chorister.
