In Loving Memory of Steven D. Murdoch

1954-2025

Steven passed away peacefully the morning of June 30th at the age of 71. A small service will be held on July 15, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. at the Ashton Pineview Cemetery.

Steve was born in Ashton in 1954, he spent his formative years in the northern Rockies with his brothers and sister before entering the Navy at eighteen, where after years of service he met the love of his life Latona Hudson. It wasn't long before they were engaged and married. They had five children, three in their twenties, their son Steven and daughters Andrea and Jennifer. In their forties they were blessed once more with children, their sons Christopher and Reed.

Tragedy struck in August of 2004 with the passing of his beloved wife Toni. Steve Was a man of many passions and hobbies, he loved to hunt as well as read a passion he shared with and passed down to all his children, he was also an aspiring author himself but sadly passed before he could finish his first book. He was a man of strong conviction and belief, he was a devout Latter Day Saint and a passionate patriot.

He was loved and is sorely missed by his four siblings, five children, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
