Obituary

Suzanne Catherine Mlodzik, 58, of Ashton, died at 7:30 PM, Sunday, April 21, 2013 at her home in Ashton, Idaho. She was born April 29, 1954 in Long Beach, California, to William Damon and Ann Wallace. She married Michael Mlodzik on January 17, 1983 and he survives.

Also surviving are her mother Ann Wallace of Canyon Country, California; one brother Robert (Susan) Damon; three sisters, Rose (Dale) Kerr, Janet (Chris) Mendenhall and Ruth (Randy) Lawrence and numerous nieces, nephews, and other wonderful family members. She is also survived by numerous extended family within the missionary program for the Family Search network of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Suzanne's father William Damon, Step-Father James Wallace, and her first husband Douglas Riffel preceded her in death.

Suzanne graduated from Canyon High School and BYU-Idaho. She served an LDS mission to Argentina after the death of her first husband, Douglas. Suzanne has served in numerous callings as a member of the LDS Church. Most recently, Suzanne worked for the LDS Church as a supervisor in World Wide support for the Family Search System.

Suzie had a love of family and a passion for providing assistance to others in extending the blessings of the Temple for their ancestors.

After family and church service, Suzanne's great love was riding her Buell motorcycle. If not working to help others, she could be counted on to find an excuse for a ride.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2013, at the Ashton 1st Ward LDS Chapel with Bishop Brian Loosli officiating. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2:00 to 2:45 p.m. at the church prior to services. Interment will be in the Ashton Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Baxter Funeral Home.
