Todd Harold Stronks was born October 11, 1955, in Ashton, Idaho, to Mary Summers and Theodore Edward Stronks. Todd passed away from a heart attack May 11, 2023.

Todd grew up in Ashton and graduated from North Fremont High School in 1974.  He attended Ricks College and then served a Mission to the Oregon Portland Mission.  He returned home and began working as an Apprentice Electrician and later became a Licensed Master Electrician. After 35 years, he recently retired from Rocky Mountain Power.

He started dating Jan Atchley soon after his mission and they were married in the Idaho Falls Temple on March 9, 1979. They were blessed with three daughters: Mary-Frances, Victoria, and Alexis. He loved them so very much and shared with them his love of insects, fish and reptiles, along with all things cars. All while supporting them in their running, dancing and other activities. They lived in Kemmerer, WY, Lava Hot Springs, ID, Vernal, UT, and finally settled back in Ashton to raise their family

Todd loved all things automotive. He was always up to date with the newest models and was a Corvette and Jaguar lover.

Todd was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and enjoyed his various callings throughout his life. He was a quiet man with a giant heart.

He is survived by his dear wife Jan Stronks and his daughters; Mary-Frances (Jesse Schmunk) Stronks, Victoria (Jody) Lowe, and Alexis (Jordan) Hemming. Todd and Jan have seven grandchildren who will miss their Papa Todd very much.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 17, at the Ashton LDS Stake Center with Bishop Justin Heiner of the Ashton 2nd Ward conducting.  The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and Wednesday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m., both times at the stake center.  Interment will be in the Pineview Cemetery.
