Obituary

With the heaviest heart, we share that Anthony "Tony" James Littleford has passed away peacefully at home of an extended illness. He left us way too soon at just 36, but if there's one thing we know, it's that he packed more fun, love, and laughter into those years than most people do in a lifetime.

Born and raised in Pocatello, Idaho, Tony attended Century High School, where he perfected the fine art of making people laugh, turning strangers into lifelong friends, and being the guy that you always wanted around. He was the life of the party—always with a drink in his hand, a joke on his lips, and a mischievous grin that usually meant something hilarious (or slightly reckless) was about to happen. His reckless nature extended to hobbies like racing junk yard dogs, BMX, band, skateboarding and of course outrunning ISU's public safety. Later in life, he took an interest in everything outdoors. Hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and side by sides. After high school, he was in a band with his friends Carl, Derek and Justin. Tony was the lead singer of the band "Yesterday's Problems".

In 2016, Tony and Shelley met. They got married in 2017. Shelley brought her four boys to the marriage and gave Tony the family he needed at the time. It fulfilled his life to take the boys hunting, fishing and show them his favorite pastimes. Many an evening was spent around a campfire, catching catfish and sharing stories. He instilled a love for the outdoors in them and helped them become the men that they are today.

Tony never met a stranger, just a friend he hadn't had a drink with yet. His energy was infectious, his loyalty unshakable, and if you were lucky enough to be in his circle, you had a friend for life. He lived big, laughed loud, and loved fiercely. At the time of his passing, Tony was working for W.E.B.C.O, owned by his best friend Carl. He built cabins in Island Park, and he took real pride in it. He worked for WEBCO for 20 years forging lifelong connections and friendships. Not only did he love what he did, but he also got to work alongside his family, Craig and Clint. Everyone on the job site was considered family though. It was the place where you make bonds that last a lifetime. People like Richard, JP, Nolan and Oli. Everyone loved Tony and instantly connected with him. He would go out of his way to make friends with everyone, including the clients he built houses for.

Many people and past clients reached out with condolences and sympathies. Showing us how many lives Tony truly touched. Work hard, play harder, that was Tony's style, and he did both like a pro.

Tony was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Fred Heape & Royal Littleford and his father, Rick Littleford. He is survived by the love of his life, Shelley Littleford. His daughter, Kaebrynn Skidmore. His bonus sons, Chantz (Cera), Coulter, Jaxson, & Jesse (Karly). His mother, Cindy Heape Littleford. His brother, Tyler Littleford. His grandmothers, Joann Heape & Barbara Littleford. His grandchildren, Amelia (his partner in crime), Bellamy, & Harper. Tony is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins, countless friends and IP locals.

Off the job site, Tony had a close circle of friends that were there till' the very end offering support and love for both Shelley and Tony. He was a loyal friend who made lasting connections with everyone he met. But there were a few that really stepped up. Your support, your genuine love for Tony and your bond with him did not go unnoticed or unappreciated. He was so lucky to have you in his life.

These past few months, he was surrounded by love, cared for with unwavering devotion, and never left alone. His absence has left a hole that can't be filled, but if there's one thing Tony would want, it's for us to remember him with a smile, a drink, and a damn good story. So, let's do just that. A Celebration of Life will be held on March 15th, 2025, at 5pm at Shotgun Bar. This coincides with Tony's birthday, the perfect day to throw a party in his honor but if you knew Tony, you know you need to be there. We will be toasting Brass Monkeys in his memory and if you knew Tony you'll know what that means.

Tony, you were one of a kind. The world will never be the same without you, but we'll make sure your spirit lives on—every time we laugh too loud, stay out too late, and toast to a life well lived.

We miss you beyond words, Ol' Kid. This one's for you.
