Tyler William Phelps, 21, of Ashton, died Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He was born March 20, 1993, in Driggs, Idaho to Trent and Ann Gardener Phelps.
He was raised and attended school in Ashton. He participated in football and other extracurricular activities in high school. He graduated from North Fremont High School in 2011.
He was very outgoing and loved being with his family and friends. He was the best little brother that anyone could ever ask for. He was loved by everyone.
He liked to fish, hunt, camp and anything else outdoor related. He also enjoyed karaoke. He loved his dog, Griz.
He looked up to and admired his father. He was by his side whenever possible. He worked with his father as a plumber in the family business, T and T Plumbing. He was a hard worker.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
He is survived by his parents, Trent and Terrie Phelps of Ashton, Ann Phelps of Quincy, Washington; his siblings, Christopher (Teri) Phelps of Renton, WA, Alicia Phelps and Katie Phelps both of Moscow, Idaho, Nathan Phelps and Megan Phelps both of Quincy, Yoshi (Tammy) Hooper, Froe Zak and Robert Zak all of Ashton; grandparents, Leslie (John Stevens) Bigler of St. Anthony, Doyle and Bea Phelps of Ashton, Joyce Gardener of Arizona, Bob and Ruth Killam of Ashton. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 6, at the Ashton 3rd Ward Chapel with Bishop Gary Marsden officiating. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church prior to services.
