Obituary

Wanda Louise Bates Humble Brower, 85, of Victor, died July 28, 2014 at her daughter's home in Kent, WA. She was born December 31, 1928 at home in Bates, Idaho to Ernest George Bates and Louise Sarah Butler. She was the 9th child of Ernest and the 3rd of 10 children of Ernest and Louise Bates. Wanda was a life long resident of Victor, Idaho.

Wanda loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ, picking huckleberries, and raspberries, making quilts, music, dancing and being with her family.

Wanda was preceded in death by her parents Ernest and Louise, her first husband, Miles Dee Lee Humble, and her second husband, Leo Lyn Brower, 9 siblings; Hyrum, Leonora, Merrill, June, Orrin, Irvin, Neva, Steven, and Velda.

Wanda is survived by 7 siblings; Laura, Gwenith, Derold, Cloyd, Marvin, Twila, and Carol, her 6 children Cheryl, Delvin, Janet, LaWana, Shannon, and Clayton, 20 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren who love her.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 2, at the Victor LDS Chapel, with Bishop Stan Marshall officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 7:30 p.m. and Saturday from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. both times at the church. Burial will be in the Victor Cemetery under the direction of Baxter Funeral Home.
